1. Free to Use
COA Roost AI is a free platform for the Australian motocross and enduro community. There is no subscription fee to create an account, track rides, or participate in clubs. Certain premium club management features may be introduced in the future with advance notice to users.
2. User-Generated Content
You are responsible for all content you post on COA Roost AI, including marketplace listings, trail condition reports, club posts, and ride data. You must not post content that is false, defamatory, offensive, or in violation of Australian law. COA Roost AI reserves the right to remove any content that breaches these terms without notice.
3. Marketplace Listings
COA Roost AI provides a platform for riders to list and discover second-hand gear, bikes, and parts. We are not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. COA Roost AI accepts no liability for the accuracy of listings, the condition of items sold, payment disputes, or any loss arising from marketplace transactions. Buyers and sellers transact at their own risk. Our AI scam detection is an aid only — it does not guarantee a listing is legitimate.
4. GPS and Ride Data
Ride data including GPS routes, speed, distance, and jump metrics are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Australia or comparable regions. This data is used solely to power app features such as leaderboards, ride history, and AI analysis. We do not sell your ride data to third parties. You may request deletion of your ride data at any time by contacting us at clubs@coa.au.
5. Safety Features
COA Roost AI includes crash detection and SOS features for rider safety. These features are provided on a best-efforts basis and must not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate safety precautions, personal protective equipment, or professional emergency services. Always carry a personal communication device and ride with a buddy where possible.
6. Account Suspension
Accounts may be suspended or permanently banned for behaviour that violates these terms, including but not limited to: posting fraudulent marketplace listings, harassment of other users, spamming, or misuse of AI features. We will attempt to notify you before suspension except where the breach is serious or urgent.
7. Limitation of Liability
COA Roost AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, COA.AU and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification.
